NICE TO BE HOME:)

So Nefi and I went to Vegas for the weekend. It's been a while since we have spent a weekend without the littles so it was nice. I really missed my cute boys, but we kept in touch. The first night was just catching up with Nefi's sister. It was good to see her. She looks great. The next day we shopped until we couldn't any more! I love outlet malls. Then we went to oour room and got ready for the night. We ate dinner at the Luxor and the food was amazing as usual and the service was great. Then we met up with some of Nefi and Ivonne's old friends. We drove around and talked and laughed. It was really nice for them to get to catch up. The next day was a little more shopping and just running around a little bit. We got ready for the night, well I got ready while Nefi napped! Then we went to dinner at an Asian restaurant in the Planet Hollywood Hotel. It was really good. What fun is Vegas without a little dancing? That is what we did next. Ivonne and her friend met up with us and we went to Prive. While we were waiting for the club to open we met a few other people that were way fun to hang out with. The next day we went to breakfast at Ivonne's hotel and waited for her to get out of her meeting so we could say goodbye. So it was a great trip, we hung out with old friends, and met some new ones. I am so glad we went, but I am so glad to be home.

Just ran on to this picture. Kai and Saige's first day of school!!! look at his hair :(

IT'S COLD....

It is when we have too many cold days in a row that I really really miss Lake Powell. I miss it now. There is magic in the sun, the water, the colors of the rocks and beaches. It makes me happy to be there. It makes my husband and my kids happy. It lives in me. It is a time for family. There is just something about being on the boat with the wind on your skin. Not awful wind, the kind that makes you mad just to know it exists, but the kind that makes you feel free. The water is warm and clean (at least it looks clean. LOL). It's refreshing. I can't even describe the power it has over me. Now we have our own boat. The best money I've ever spent. We will make memories for as long as possible with our beautiful boys and anyone else that wants to be a part of the magic. Thanks to my mom and dad for sharing such a special gift with me. I really hate the winter, but thoughts of Lake Powell will help me survive. XO.

Christmas break

Can I just say how happy I am that Christmas break is almost over! I am starting to believe that my children might die from boredom! In turn I may die for their boredom complaints! Jokes Jokes. I have really enjoyed this time with my little monkeys. They had a great Christmas. We have spent lots of time together, and it's been nice not to have to worry about homework and all of that. It is so amazing how fast time flies. Before we know it, the kids will be out of school for the summer. Hello Lake Powell! But that is another post all together. Happy day!

WELCOME

Welcome to the Miramontes family blog. So happy to finally get to it. Nefi put all of my pictures on an external hard drive so it will be lame until I can get some of those back. Sorry.....
